Clarksville Connected (CCU) Support Services is a department with diverse areas of responsibility which includes: Vehicle Maintenance, Easement Acquisition, Building Inspection, AutoCAD Mapping, GIS, GPS, Industrial Maintenance, and Engineering. This department is also responsible for developing and maintaining all safety rules, conducting safety meetings with all employees, providing monthly company performance reports and interaction with State DOL and Federal OSHA offices.

Clarksville Light & Water Company is seeking a price quote for: Inventory of all electric poles.
Scope of project: 3498 Poles
Requirements for this project include:
All pole inventory information collected will be in the pre-designated shapefile (.shp) format indicated in this RFP document. The following information is required to be collected at each pole location.
GPS Location – Sub Meter Accuracy
Height and Class of Pole
Primary Pole top assembly units
Secondary Assembly Units
Measurement from Neutral to ground line at attachment
Quantity of Guy wires and lead length
Location of all Anchors and anchor owner
Location of Communication Attachments
Mid-span measurements of Neutral conductor and communication cables
Inventory of communication cables and messenger sizes
Measurements at crossings, driveways, bridges, and railroad crossings
Inventory of additional equipment (i.e. Transformers, Capacitors, Street Lights, Cable Nodes, etc.)
Span distance between poles
Condition of the pole
Note any loose hardware, split pole tops, or other visual integrity issues
Visually inspect for decay
If needed perform sound test- If any signs of decay are present, complete a sound inspection of the pole to further determine if decay is present.
Note poles if rot is suspected- Any poles with significant decay should be noted for further inspection by CLW.
Attach pole identification tag on each pole and record with GPS data.
Take picture of each pole (full pole in photo)
Take picture of each guy and anchor.

Communication Cables and Sizes
All pricing will need to be as a per pole dollar amount, no additional charges.
